Growing up on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Ashleigh fell in love with performing at a very young age. Her ambitions led her west when, after just graduating high school, she packed up and moved her life to WAAPA’s renowned Musical Theatre course. In her time there, Ashleigh played Mary Lane in Reefer Madness, Linda in Hair, Minnie in West Side Story and Dory in Merrily We Roll Along. She was also the recipient of the acclaimed Warnock Award in 2013, a scholarship awarded to the ‘Most Promising Second Year Student’. Ashleigh is also a graduate of the prestigious Talent Development Project, and a fifth year recipient of the Sport and Tourism Youth Foundation scholarship for Performing Arts. Ashleigh made her professional theatre debut in the Gordon Frost/Opera Australia production of Anything Goes.
